Manuscript Scope

Submitted manuscripts must fall within the journal's focus and scope, covering computer science, artificial intelligence, software engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, data science, and other interdisciplinary computing research.

Originality

Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other journal. Authors are responsible for ensuring the authenticity of their work and properly acknowledging all sources.

Manuscript Language

All manuscripts must be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English.

Manuscript Preparation

Authors should prepare their manuscripts using the official SPARK manuscript template. The manuscript should be organized as follows:

  • Title
  • Author(s) and Affiliation(s)
  • Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Introduction
  • Literature Review (if applicable)
  • Research Methodology
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgements (optional)
  • References

Tables, figures, and equations should be clearly presented and sequentially numbered.

References

References should primarily consist of recent and relevant scholarly publications. Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote and follow the citation style required by the journal.

Submission

All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's Online Journal System (OJS). Submissions sent via email will not be processed.

Peer Review

Every manuscript undergoes an initial editorial evaluation followed by a double-blind peer-review process conducted by at least two independent reviewers. Editorial decisions are based on originality, scientific quality, methodological rigor, and relevance to the journal's scope.

Revision

Authors are expected to revise their manuscripts in accordance with reviewers' and editors' comments within the specified deadline. Revised manuscripts may be returned for further review if necessary.

Publication Ethics

Authors must comply with the journal's Publication Ethics and the ethical standards established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Any form of plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, or unethical research practice is strictly prohibited.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

The journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication.

  • Indonesian Authors: IDR 300,000
  • International Authors: USD 30

There is no submission fee.

Copyright

Authors retain the copyright of their published work while granting the journal the right to publish and disseminate the article under the applicable open-access license.
