Screening for Plagiarism Policy

JACSI: Journal of Autonomous Computing Systems and Intelligence is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and originality. Every manuscript submitted to the journal is screened for plagiarism before entering the peer-review process.

To ensure the originality of submitted manuscripts, JACSI uses reliable plagiarism detection software, such as:

• Turnitin
• iThenticate (when applicable)

Manuscripts are evaluated for textual similarity, including improper citation, duplicate publication, self-plagiarism, and unattributed use of copyrighted material. Similarity reports are carefully reviewed by the editorial team, and a high similarity index does not automatically indicate plagiarism. Each case is assessed based on the nature and context of the matched content.

Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism, excessive similarity, fabricated content, or other forms of publication misconduct may be:

• Returned to the authors for revision;
• Rejected before the peer-review process;
• Rejected after peer review if ethical concerns are confirmed; or
• Retracted after publication if plagiarism or other serious ethical violations are discovered.

Authors are expected to ensure that all submitted work is original, properly cited, and complies with the journal's Publication Ethics policy. The Editorial Board reserves the right to take appropriate action in accordance with internationally accepted publication ethics standards, including the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
