Peer Reviewer Process
All manuscripts submitted to JACSI: Journal of Autonomous Computing Systems and Intelligence undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific integrity of published articles. Neither the authors nor the reviewers know each other's identities throughout the review process.
The review process consists of the following stages:
1. Initial Editorial Screening
The Editorial Office conducts a preliminary evaluation to ensure that the manuscript fits the journal's focus and scope, complies with the author guidelines, meets basic academic writing standards, and passes the plagiarism screening.
2. Editor Evaluation
The Editor-in-Chief or an assigned Associate Editor assesses the manuscript's originality, scientific contribution, methodological soundness, and overall suitability for peer review.
3. Double-Blind Peer Review
Eligible manuscripts are sent to at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript's subject area. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:
- Originality and novelty
- Scientific significance
- Research methodology
- Data analysis and interpretation
- Organization and clarity of presentation
- Quality of references
- Relevance to the journal's scope
4. Review Recommendation
Based on the reviewers' evaluations, one of the following recommendations will be made:
- Accept
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Reject
5. Revision Process
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers' comments and submit a detailed response explaining how each comment has been addressed. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the reviewers for further evaluation when necessary.
6. Final Decision
The final publication decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief after considering the reviewers' recommendations, the quality of the revisions, and the journal's editorial standards.
7. Publication
Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, layout editing, proofreading, and final publication according to the journal's publication schedule.
The editorial team is committed to ensuring that the peer-review process is conducted fairly, objectively, confidentially, and without discrimination. All editors and reviewers are expected to disclose any conflicts of interest and maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts throughout the review process.
